Providing tailor-made applications for our institute is the main responsibility of our software development team. Together with your colleagues, you will develop and hold responsibility for applications mainly based on open source web frameworks. In the process of developing new applications, it is crucial to understand the needs of our users and to provide them with the best possible solutions.Developing, modifying and testing of web applications, based on open source frameworksTranslating functional into technical specificationsMaintaining the deployment infrastructure (Linux VMs, docker, kubernetes) together with our System AdministratorsParticipating in the development of software documentation and trainings
Qualifikationen

Familiarity with native JavaScript and JS frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, Quasar)Profound knowledge of web standards (HTTP, REST, HTML5, CSS)Good knowledge of database (SQL, NoSQL) and caching (e.g. Elasticsearch) technologiesOpen-minded and reliable character, focused and self-dependent personalityGood communication skills and good command of English (working language)

Erfahrung

Experience in full-stack development in at least one of the following languages: Ruby (preferred), Python, Perl or PHPExperience designing modern web architectures (SPA, PWA, microservices, web components)Some experience with workflow engines (e.g. Activiti, Flowable) and document management systems (e.g. Alfresco) is a plus; eagerness to learn new technologies
