Role Purpose: Use your full stack development expertise and collaboration skills to help us in our mission to make the internet a safer place to be.Be a vital part of a small team in which each member's opinion and experience counts, focussed on continuous improvement and innovation.Build browser-based JavaScript web apps and the Java Spring services they depend on.Help integrate our web apps with an architecture based on microservices by specifying and implementing REST API's.Collaborate closely with the Product, Design, QA and DevOps teams to specify features, bring them to production and maintain them.Participate in regular planning sessions and workshops.Keep up-to-date with the latest technology developments and bring them to the team.Adhere to software development best practices in order to work as effectively as possible.You will help with fulfilling the team's most critical business goals, handling production issues as they emerge, stabilising the system and staying on top of technical debt. Close collaboration with the team will allow you to focus on the development tasks that will make the biggest impact. You will also help with refining the team's processes.

Erfahrung
At least 3 years of professional experience in software development, writing high quality, secure code.Solid experience with JavaScript, Java, Spring (Core / Boot / Security / MVC / Data), REST (principles and hands on experience with at least 1 framework), SQL, Git, Maven, and design patterns.Great to have Experience and QualificationsKnowledge of our chosen frameworks Angular and Spring is a big plus; any background in related technologies (e.g. React, Vue.js) is also an advantage.Grasp of TypeScript and Java 8 features.Experience building distributed and scalable applications.Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS.Experience with any of the following: Docker, Spring Cloud, Redis.Hands-on experience with microservice architectures.Experience with automated unit and integration testing technologies such as Protractor, Karma and Jasmine.
