supporting the definition and design of enterprise-wide services, utilities, and major common database models;defining the steady but gradual reengineering plans to migrate from our existing applications and services to the evolving future state, and; (iii) supporting our existing engineering teams located in different development sites to deliver their respective application solutions within the framework of the end-to-end Global Blue architecture.Define Strategies of Enterprise Architecture: Responsible to learn/understand the "as is" suite of Global Blue applications and existing enterprise-wide utilities and services in order to understand the starting point of our evolving architecture and transformative engineering efforts while gradually increasing the level of commonality and standardization across the engineering units, as an example define plans to eliminate the systems obsolescence, improve the system integration (internal and external) in a easily way, and implement a new data model as the foundation to support the GB needs in the future.Solution Architecture Design: Responsible to support the GB's projects creating Solutions Architecture designs aligned with GB IT Enterprise Architecture Strategies, guidelines and principles in order to implement the best technical solution in terms of simplicity, security, flexibility and standardization across different functional areas. Serve as the subject-matter-expert in selective EA components (e.g. data modeller/expert in corporate-wide databases. Focus most closely with the lead developer in each engineering unit to ensure that unit-specific solution/application architecture is appropriate and supportive of the end-to-end enterprise architecture and standards.Guidelines and principles: Define corporate governance in terms of guidelines and principles, ensure that it will be implemented across all UoV teams, providing technology support for development and infrastructure teams. Define the best practices of coding, integration patterns, data model, ALM process and development process (Agile), and in this last point participate as an invited member in specific agile development meetings and workshops as required by the responsible product manager and/or technical lead. Work closely and cooperatively with each engineering unit to ensure that the necessary enterprise standards and services are gradually introduced within each unit's agile development methodology and prioritized sprint deliverables.Prove of Concepts: stablish proves of concepts in order to check existing solutions (Internal and External) and have sure that we make the best choices in terms of which software should be used as a part of solution proposal.Infrastructure and Operations Support: Working closely with the Infrastructure and Operations ("I&O") division responsible for the production operation of our Vienna data centres, support the testing, deployment and operation of end-to-end ("E2E") application utilities, services, frameworks and databases as they support the individual applications and engineering units.Division of work:Hands on Architecture, Design, R&D: 70%Engineering Team Involvement/Support: 25%Infrastructure and Operation Support: 5%
Qualifikationen

English language skills (oral and written) in routine, technology-related work settings. Additional proficiency in other languages is a strong plus.Rich set of Microsoft-related formal training classes and/or certifications (e.g. .NET, C#, SQL Server, Angular, RabbitMQ, etc.), supplemented by demonstrable on-the-job training and utilization.Proven track record of successful delivery of cross-functional, multi-year business development and technology transformation / legacy system (re)engineering projects.Results-oriented drive to deliver in a routine "hands-on" manner - as leader and team memberHands-on working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases and related tools (Integration Services, Reporting Services, etc.)

Erfahrung

Proven experience in designing and supporting high-availability, high-volume transactional processing systems and invoicing applications.Experience in breaking a monolithic legacy application into smaller sub-systems/service.Deep knowledge and continuous hands-on experience in large-scale software (re)engineering (bespoke software development), enterprise services design and implementation, application solutions architecture, database modelling, and legacy platform migration / integration (predominantly based on past and present Microsoft technologies, frameworks and products.)Experience with back office processing platforms and transaction-based software applications within payments, financial services, or retail domains.Application design and development experience within the Payment Card Industry with relevant experience related to the applicable Data Security Standards ("PCI-DSS")Multi-national / multi-language work experienceArchitectural design and engineering experience in varied, non-Microsoft technology solutions, databases and frameworks (e.g. Java / J2EE, Oracle or other DBMS, etc.)5+ years of hands-on design and development within the Microsoft stack (e.g. .NET, C#, SQL Server, BizTalk, WCF, MSMQ, Windows services/utilities, etc.)Hands-on working experience with messaging platforms (Preference RabbitMQ) and Rest APIs.Hands-on working experience with Microsoft Windows Server and related engineering frameworks and tools (.NET Core, C# development), etc.5+ years of technology work experience within applications / solutions design and software development.Hands-on experience within agile software development methodologies in a multi-division processing company (international experience is a strong plus)Payments industry experience is a strong plus (credit card, merchant processing, banking, financial services, etc.)
