Software Developer - Audiovisual Live Channel Products (m/f/d)THE CHALLENGE: Working as a part of the AudioVisual Tribe development team in Warsaw, the Fullstack Developer will be responsible for implementing both front-end and back-end applications together with the team members in other locations. The AV dev-team in Warsaw supports the business needs of the AV vertical for content and client management, live operations, and post-match reporting. Most of the team daily tasks involve working with Git, Golang, PHP, developing user interfaces in JavaScript (React, TypeScript, GraphQL) and migrating the applications to run cloud-native (AWS). Our projects have extensive documentation on Confluence. We organize our work with Jira. The role demands someone who has a clear passion for development and creating state of the art solutions, has a sound working knowledge of Go/PHP and JavaScript (React, TypeScript), knows new and current technological trends, designs and development processes. YOUR PROFILE: Must have: ▪ Working experience with either Go (min. 1 year) OR PHP (min. 3 years) ▪ Strong understanding of HTTP routing in the Go standard library or Symfony framework in PHP ▪ Familiarity with web APIs (REST / GraphQL) ▪ Good knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL) ▪ At least one year of experience in frontend technologies and willingness to work with React / TypeScript ▪ A problem-solving attitude, i.e. not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex problems and determining how best to solve them Nice to have: ▪ Experience with built-in testing in Go or PHP Unit ▪ Willingness to practice TDD and pair programming ▪ Knowledge of Protocol Buffers, gRPC and Websockets ▪ Experience with microservices architecture ▪ Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GitLab), Docker / AWS / Kubernetes and container hosting infrastructure. ▪ Knowledge of (or interest in learning) modern software system observability stack e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS ▪ Communication in English is a must ▪ Willingness to learn new technologies ▪ Positive, team player with a can-do attitude ▪ See any problem as a challenge and search for solutions together with a team ▪ Dedication to creating innovative and maintainable products OUR OFFER: ▪ Competitive salary based on knowledge and experience ▪ Flexible working hours, hybrid work model and work-life balance ▪ Multi-sport offers, medical insurance, etc. ▪ We care about code quality so get ready to participate in code reviews ▪ We have time to learn new technologies, tools and to use them ▪ Stable job in a multi-national team (from offices all over the world) ▪ Participation in challenging projects, conferences, training ▪ Professional and personal growth The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
