MANAGER INVESTMENT & TECHNOLOGYPaper Industry, Operational Excellence, home office, travel 50%+, f/m/dOur client is a European market leader in the paper industry which is known for high quality, ecological orientation, customer as well as employee focus and production efficiency. We are looking for a dynamic, self-reliant and communicative manager who will optimise the plants regarding paper machines, stock preparation and energy consumption (Operational Excellence) and will find innovative investments, which will be implemented together with the people in charge at their plants (CAPEX). Workplace can either be Vienna, the local units or home office. In this newly created position you encourage best practice as well as technological transfer among the plants and continuously check the market regarding innovations and their possible implementation at the company's plants. You will design, analyse and implement investment strategies, identify and evaluate opportunities and create documentation and reporting. An essential task is planning and implementing large-scale projects from the initial idea to completion and to establish standards. Creating presentations of analysis results as decision-making basis for top management as well as assisting the plant management in technical and organisational questions will round off your profile. You have a process engineering degree or are a papermaker with project know-how. 3+years of experience in the area of technical investments are required, ideally with a focus on the paper industry, as well as extensive know-how in the design of technical processes. Experience in Operational Excellence and with electro-/automation-investments are strong assets. Excellent MS Office and English skills are required, German is a plus. You work in an analytical and structured way and have the ability to visualise and evaluate complex issues. You are open-minded, motivated and willing to obtain further qualifications.
