(Senior) Cloud Engineer (M/F/D)38,5 h / weekOur SDK MOVE(movesdk.com) for mobile apps detects user activities throughout their day, and enables interactions in the context of their daily lives - where they are and how they get there. The MOVE functionalities are operated in an elastic cloud environment, with a messaging backbone serving our async services. We employ a host of different technologies and languages (e.g. mostly Kotlin, but also Python and an R container for our machine learning-based services), and optimise them to ensure stability, scalability and cost efficiency. What we would like to find in you: You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field of study, or relevant practical experience. You are familiar with Cloud environments and Kubernetes/Docker (ideally in GCP), so you can help ensure stability and scaling of our cloud-based platform. You are inquisitive to analyze our service ecosystem, and to conduct load and failover tests as part of our regular release cycle. You love to support developer collaboration and excellence with the necessary tools (e.g. code quality, log analysis), as well as analysis of the backend service environment on a configuration and code level. You have experience in setting up and administering continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker), monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and other tools for operation and development. You are lazy with regard to repetitive tasks, and your proficiency in Python or other scripting languages help you automate whatever makes sense.
