Senior Software EngineerSplendit IT Consulting has a great reputation for modernizing legacy software systems. Job descriptionAs the IDEs and DevOps tools that developers use in their daily work are undergoing rapid development, we want to adapt and integrate our in-house products on different platforms to meet the developer's needs. Additionally, we are extending the concept of our products to support more programming languages and to address security issues, e.g., finding security vulnerabilities in the container images, third-party dependencies, and infrastructure as code setup. Guide the software development process. Mentor team members when necessary. Develop or modify existing software solutions running on the Eclipse ecosystem. Integrating refactoring solutions into VS Code through the Language Server Protocol. Design and implement static analysis tools that detect security vulnerabilities in the source base and automatically resolve them whenever possible. Presenting the software solutions in Conferences, MeetUps, etc. Your Experience and SkillsA completed or ongoing education in computer science or similar. Working in an agile development environment. Familiarity with Atlassian Solid understanding of the Java language and the JVM architecture. Having a big picture on the Java 11+ features and the ongoing JDK projects: Amber, Loom, Valhalla, and Panama. Comfortable working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc..) Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google cloud) Experience with setting up CI/CD tools. Either Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, or similar. Experience with TypeScript and front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue) is highly desirable. Solution-oriented personality.
