We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate test automation engineer to join our cross-functional Agile team. As an automation engineer you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge appliance-based and cloud-based firewall products. You will be working closely with product managers, manual testers and developers to design, develop, test, and deliver new and innovative features in a continuous delivery model. Tech StackPrimarySolid experience in Python Good practical Linux and bash scripting skills Knowledge of basic networking fundamentals (Firewalls/Networking Protocols, etc.) with the motivation to learn a lot more and tinker on your own SecondaryFamiliarity with back-end technologies such as REST-APIs or front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX is a plus Knowledge of Build-Deploy Pipelines (Jenkins) Familiarity with Docker or virtualization solutions is a plus Knowledge of source control management systems such as Git What you'll be working onAnalyze business and functional requirements together with development and product management (Three Amigos) to develop test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios. Design, develop and execute automated test cases to ensure product quality (functional, regression, end-to-end tests, etc.) Extend and maintain automation test frameworks and tools together with our Automation and Infrastructure team. Report and manage defects in JIRA. Work with the developers to test fixes before closing issues and actively participate in Agile/Scrum activities What you bring to the role5+ years of experience Higher technical school graduate with a focus on computer science or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) Analytical thinking and attention to detail Good communication and organization skills and happy to work with a team.
