As Staff Engineer Process Block Base Material and thinning you: Accompany the introduction of new power technologies with focus on backside processing You run specific pre-development projects to provide process solutions for future requirements Define and develop new integration-schemes and long-term strategies for wafer backside processing especially for those new base-materials Define and introduce new characterization methods Keep process and material diversity under control and help our production to achieve efficiency targets Share your knowledge and experience in cross functional trainings With putting focus on reduction and avoidance of complexity, you also contribute thoroughly to Infineon business results With this position, you will enter the "Technical Ladder" which is our carrier path for experts. ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you: Have a Master / Ph.D. in:o Physics Science / Material Scienceo Electrical / Microsystems Engineeringo Or equivalent several years of working experience in semiconductor technologies in production or development of semiconductor processes, preferably in any of the fields of base material fabrication, pre-assembly, wafer bonding, wafer thinning, wet chemical etching and cleaning, grinding, polishing, and respective physical characterization methods Are team-oriented and have experiences in leading teams Are good in communication, organization, self-motivated and have great work ethics Are great in analytical and strategic thinking and live up to high quality standards Have a solid technical background and expertise on semiconductor technologies, process integration and interfaces Are fluent speaker & communicator in English and German language We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
