Big-data Backend Developer (m/f/d)Big Data Back End Developer OVERVIEW: We are looking for a Big-Data Backend Engineer with great communication skills, who will work as a team player and a self-starter. The ideal candidate should bring 3+ years of experience to the team. You are part of a team that is developing and managing Sportradar's digital advertising technology group setup. Within the self-organized, agile software development team you play an active role in developing Sportradar's technical foundation in advertising technology and in developing new, advertising-based business models for Sportradar. You will be working in a Big Data environment. THE CHALLENGE: Develop a radically new product based on advertising technology in one of the fastest-growing businesses in the intersection between media and sports Building highly scalable, fault-tolerant systems, enhancing our core infrastructure and contributing to projects outside your team Dealing with Big-Data and serving Machine Learning insights in a real-time Become part of a new development team working with the cutting edge cloud technologies (AWS native) in a very dynamic environment where Artificial Intelligence and data is what sells. Take on responsibility and play an active role in shaping Sportradar's advertising strategy and help build up a radically new business model YOUR PROFILE: Experienced in Big Data skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or similar or relevant working experience Industry experience in implementing and operating scalable distributed software systems Experience with Java or similar Experience working in a mix of Cloud and/or Enterprise data center environments AWS experience like DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis, Spark on EMR is a plus Familiarity with containerization and workflow automation is a plus Understanding and experience with Big-Data and Distributed Systems concepts, digital marketing know-how in conversion-heavy industries as well as experience with Scrum-based development is considered an advantage OUR OFFER: Healthcare (including e.g. preventive examination, medical check-ups, vaccination) Flexible working hours + Hybrid working model Sportradar-Öffi-Ticket & Sportradar-Scooter : Sportradar takes over the full costs of EUR 365.- for the Öffi-Ticket (Jahreskarte) for you.
