Quick infoLocation Villach Entry level 1-3 years Job ID 361622 Start Oct 01, 2022 Type Full time Contract Permanent Job descriptionIn your new role you will: Integrate new methods and software tooling into our established chip, package and board design flow Contribute to the development of our in-house software add-ons for EDA frameworks of different vendors (like from Cadence, Mentor, Ansys, Keysight, …) Further improve existing software modules (including the testing, refactoring, and maintenance of existing code) Write technical documentation and strive for continues quality improvements measures in accordance to all relevant quality assurance processes Conduct evaluations of existing tools & flow and propose improvement measures Train and support our worldwide hardware designer community Build up high-quality, innovative and performant solutions Be the 1st level user support for in-house software solutions ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related areas At least 1-3 years of professional work experience in software development and implementation within an EDA environment or a related technical area Good programming skills with focus on object-oriented software development (e.g. Phyton, Java, C++) in Unix environments and familiarity with working and scripting on Linux; Knowledge of the Cadence design environment is a plus Problem-solving skills and a keen eye for the details Enjoy to work in a team and improve the functionality and usability of our software applications Fluent English skills, German is an advantage We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
