About the job As a full-stack developer with a strong focus on back-end, you will be part of one or more teams, focusing on the development of our digital solutions for our internal and external stakeholders. You will be using the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software and web applications and will work closely with other developers, designers, solution architects and further members of the team, to decide the best way to proceed with developing new digital solutions and their integration into our existing systems. In addition, your tasks will include Evaluate which framework, platform, or tech-stack can and will be used to create a solution or application Work out the development strategy together with the development team and communicate this strategy to other stakeholders in an appropriate way Full hands-on development as part of the development team and participating actively in backlog refinements, and sprint reviews Taking care about software quality requirements Assessing the technical impact of new business requirements Acting as an interface to internal and external solution and cloud architects Find strategies how to deal with non-functional requirements and answer questions like how the system will scale for the future and how it can be maintained Figuring out the risk in third-party frameworks & platforms compared with different alternatives About You You are a strong communicator with a collaborative attitude. With your great enthusiasm and creative mindset, you bring innovative ideas to the table, not only as an individual but also together with your colleagues. You work well in cross-functional teams and are not afraid to take responsibility and make decisions. With your hands-on mentality, structured approach and analytical skills, you proactively seek to improve the status quo. What we expect from you in terms of Education A master's degree (or equivalent work experience) relevant to information technology, computer science/engineering Languages English - Fluent Any other language is considered as an asset Work Experience 3+ years of relevant working experience with knowledge of: Ruby (intermediate or advanced level) GraphQL Sequel ORM, PostgreSQL Angular 2, React and REST API JavaScript/Typescript HTML5, CSS3, Azure Cloud is a plus.
