Senior Kotlin/Java Developer Backend** all genderAs Senior Kotlin/Java Developer Backend you will work within a cross-functional team. You will be working with mobile developers, DevOps, front-end developers, QA, data scientists, and product owners to design and implement the backend that will power our internationally launched physical product. You have the unique opportunity to start from scratch building a microservice architecture with the latest technology within the AWS Cloud. Did you ever want to get rid of all the legacy, make it right, and show what's possible with a properly designed software system? This is your chance! As Senior Kotlin/Java Developer Backend at epitome … … you will be working within your Scrum Team to build all the services that are needed for our users … you will be involved from the idea to releasing it in production and working closely together with our DevOps to improve the services even further in terms of stability and availability … you will be designing everything from initial software design to cloud architecture … you will ensure that we met the high-quality expectations from our customers Now about YOU: You have at least 5 years of experience in developing end-user products You have very good skills in developing production-ready Java Applications using a microservice architecture based on Spring Boot, Docker and e.g., K8S or similar services like AWS ECS, EKS, etc. You know how to design good APIs for our IoT devices. You know how to select the right data store and why it is not a good idea to store everything in one huge database (e.g., rational databases, document-based, time-series, or even more searched oriented like Elastic Search) You know how to ensure high code quality and writing clean code is not optional for you. You like to learn new technologies and use them on daily basis to improve our products. You have experience with cloud providers or even an AWS certification Missing any of these skills?
