R&D Technology Lead Power Electronics (f/m/x)Experts in R&D | Power electronics wanted!YOUR FUTURE ROLEIn this role, you have the current overview of all R&D projects in your technical area and act as a significant influencer for strategic decisions on the further use and deployment of technologies. You define the objectives of the R&D projects and, in coordination with other R&D groups, determine the technology focus and methodology. Additionally, you communicate regularly with the necessary stakeholders while keeping an eye on the objectives and requirements of customer projects. Your input is highly valued by management and serves as a basis for strategic decisions. You evaluate the state of the art technologies in the field of power electronics by targeted technology scouting and networking activities with universities and technology partners. In the idea-finding process, you set evaluation criteria, define the necessary maturity for decision-making, and decide on feasibility. You will develop a technology road map in close cooperation with other departments such as advanced engineering management or product management. You define and develop methods, tools, processes and design guidelines in coordination with the global organization and approve them. You have overall technical responsibility, carry out design reviews and release projects in the area of advanced engineering. You ensure the transfer of know-how (training, personnel development measures) and the development of skills in the advanced engineering and series development team . You act as a consultant in challenging project phases in advanced engineering and series development and also advise the patent department on technical issues. You maintain contact with strategic customers and suppliers.
