We offer accredited programs in our Business and Management, International Relations, Media Communications, and Psychology Departments. Currently we are looking to make a time-limited faculty appointment until the end of the Academic Year 2023/24 (May 2024) in the position of a Senior Lecturer in Counseling Psychology (f/m/d)Part-time (20-30 hours/week), starting date: January 1st, 2023Senior Lecturers have an established track record of teaching excellence to impart their knowledge to students and are expected to carry regular teaching and service loads, including advising, mentorship, and thesis supervision. Each faculty member belongs to a specific academic unit and teaches in at least one accredited degree program. Senior Lecturers are not required to maintain a minimum annual scholarly output along the lines of status track faculty. However, they are expected to demonstrate independent research and attempts to collaborate in scholarly/scientific projects. Key responsibilities: Teach 4 courses/academic year Supervise or serve as second reader for student theses (at the graduate and undergraduate levels) Coordinate a counselling referral service Manage the "Propädeutikum" process Manage 10-12 internships for graduate students in psychology Your profile: A PhD. or about 10 years of subject area relevant, senior-level, experience Demonstrated potential for success in university-level teaching Demonstrated potential for achievement in academic research Established member of professional counselling networks in Vienna and its surroundings Full professional fluency in English WVPU is an equal opportunity employer - we are committed to a non-discriminatory employment policy and a diverse and inclusive community (https://webster.ac.at/about-webster/join-wvpu.html#diversity-inclusion).
