The department Business Process Management provides business analysis, software development and testing, to digitize bank processes across the entire organization and offers customer facing backend services. We build in-house solutions based on Java technology, and we utilize low-code workflow technologies like Pega to enable further process digitalization. With our internal and external teams, we serve our customers with sKontakt - messaging channel, and our Bank Employees with many solutions including Task Management, Card Chargeback, CLM and KYC Applications, Lending Applications, Securities Applications and more. YOUR MISSION AT ERSTE DIGITAL:You are responsible for the planning (resources, budget, priorities), decision-making and strategic direction of the department (currently approx. 11+ internal employees and 5+ teams off-shore) Together with your team and your business peers you drive the digitalization and IT Modernisation agenda of Erste You will drive the strategic build-up of PEGA competency in Erste with a focus of building up a team in Slovakia You will further develop our internal PEGA capability You will optimize the delivery setup and the corresponding vendor setting You strive for excellent delivery for internal clients and the responsibility for meeting the division´s goals You closely align with your management peers to ensure a synergy cross-division You negotiate with business divisions in order to cover business requirements, set-up the delivery strategy and manage business expectations You push our transformation forward by steering our agile agenda YOU CHECK THESE BOXES:You are very experienced with people management (+5 years in banking and/or IT environment), energetic, engaging and visionary and want to become part of an exciting, vibrant community of IT professionals supporting Erste Digital's mission You are accustomed to managing different vendors You know how to deal with complex situations and managing various stakeholders simultaneously You use your excellent communication, persuasion and presentation skills to establish trusted relationships with your business and main stakeholders You are an analytical thinker with the ability to balance long-term, big-picture and short-term implications of individual decision You have a high technical understanding and are interested in new technologies You are experienced in managing deliveries and teams in agile models You are comfortable working with distributed on-site and off-shore teams You know how to manage complex inter-dependencies You empower your team: You promote team responsibility and can create a framework where teams have autonomy and feel accountable for their results, constantly enabling talents to develop further You believe in change: Your self-confidence is based on your profound knowledge and experience.
