YOUR RESPONSIBILITY Reporting to the Head of Software Development for Digital Channels, you take ownership for quality assurance of user stories and bug fixes to our mobile app and/or internet banking channels Assure quality of our software artifacts Working in JIRA with our traditional SCRUM process, you test and move product backlog items through the software development process You contribute to improving our existing test processes, standards and automation code Creation of test cases, test sets and test executions in our JIRA based tools Reviewing Acceptance Criteria in Gherkin format (Given, When, Then) and giving feedback to the Business Analysts You will seek to understanding our data model and product rules so that you can understand what needs to be tested instead of just executing tests Collaboration with the frontend and backend development teams Close teamwork with Product Owner, Scrum Master, UX and QA team members Taking your own initiative for continuous improvements of testing approach YOUR PROFILE What we are looking for: Experience in Software Testing Passionate about SCRUM and User Story way of work Excellent knowledge of Business Analysis, System Analysis Experience in using JIRA and Confluence Independent worker, while being a team player Good with stakeholder management Beneficial: Experience in Postman, Proxyman About you: You have 1 year or more experience in Software Testing (or 7 years or more for the senior role) Beneficial: 1 year of experience in financial services or fintech You are comfortable to be testing with 2x phones at the same time (iOS and Android) You are comfortable to test multiple topics in one day and do not mind "context switching" You know how to document test results to reduce time wasted by developers asking for the test details Beneficial: Postman, Charles or ProxyMan experience to do testing with adjusting HTTP or API payloads during tests Beneficial: SQL experience to check database values during tests You are analytical and structured with great attention to detail You are responsive and work well in a remote work setup You might have a background in business analysis, service desk, customer support or development Required: Good English language skills Beneficial: Good German language skills WE OFFER Prime office locations with an open and nurturing corporate culture Active participation in the transformation of an agile and digital company Flexible worktime models, vast career opportunities, training and development, various attractive social benefits We guarantee a competitive salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications, starting at EUR 32.825,94 gross per year for this position, in accordance with the respective collective agreement.
