QA EngineerQA Engineer OVERVIEW: At Sportradar we've experienced a wonderful period of sustained hypergrowth through a highly focused strategy based upon industry leading product innovation. To continue on this trajectory, we are looking to expand our development team that are working on interfaces to service sport's governing bodies with the addition of a QA engineer. You will be a key member of our team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration, software development lifecycles and testing practices. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing and supporting high quality software solutions. You will work within an Agile team who are passionate about technology and constantly looking to innovate. This role will be developing a QA program that safeguards the quality of our products and fosters a "Quality Culture" within the team. THE CHALLENGE: Creating flexible systems that work across a variety of sports Maintaining existing partner applications Demonstrating attention to detail of functional features and fault exploration Contribute to the development of software services optimized for deployment into AWS Collaborate with and become integral to a cross-functional team of Product, Design, Engineering, and System Administration Working in a modern, collaborative development environment using GitLab, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Review technical and business requirements (incl. acceptance criteria) and design robust & reusable test scenarios Manage the execution of test scenarios and report results, capturing run & key metrics overtime Design and implement strategic level QA documentation/frameworks Design and execute testing for complex features as required Act as a point of contact for QA issues that arise during testing Support the organisational shift towards continuous testing delivery (incl. implementing automated testing frameworks) Analyse live issues with a focus on continuous improvement Assess feature suitability for test automation (incl. unit tests for developers & API integration tests) Configuration and set-up of test tools including the integration of automated regression suite with CI/CD pipeline tools Log, prioritise & track bugs to completion Maintaining documentation related to the QA stream Create and maintain strong working relationships, working closely with other teams to ensure issues are progressed Collaborate across the wider team, predominantly with the development, product & UX teams YOUR PROFILE: Masters or Bachelor degree in software development or other relevant area (or relevant experience) 3-5 years of professional experience within a QA environment of microservices and front end (Web / Mobile) systems Experience with cloud, containers and messaging technologies are considered a plus Curiosity and awareness of the latest technologies Knowledge of .NET / C# based systems Effective writing/reporting skills with a keen eye for detail A can-do attitude / self-motivated with strong team working skills OUR OFFER: Work with state-of-the-art equipment to solve our technological challenges Collaborate and support colleagues all around the world The opportunity to work and develop within an inspiring and fast-growing company A challenging, but rewarding and fun environment Work with microservice architectures, cloud providers and other modern and emerging technologies The opportunity to join an exciting team making impacts on our services and our customers' products Camaraderie of talented and passionate coworkers from all around the world delivering innovative products The opportunity to work and develop within an inspiring and fast-growing company Competitive salary and benefits.
