Qualcomm's XR team is seeking a backend engineer to join a talented and innovative team developing the next generation of Augmented and Virtual reality (XR) technologies. Responsibilities we'll trust you with: · You are responsible for web application and API development and designing, implementing, and maintaining the server infrastructure. · Implement unit tests for testing functionality · Design and maintain the cloud infrastructure together with a professional team to ensure scalability, availability, and reliability. · Design, implement and deploy web applications that are running on your infrastructure design. · Optimize the infrastructure and applications for maximum performance and minimum latency. Skills / Experience we'd love to see: Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field · A passion for software development, cloud infrastructure, and aiming for a high-quality standard · 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure · 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as Node.js, TypeScript, Python · Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB · Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining REST APIs Preferred Qualifications Experience with · Cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) · Infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) · Testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Mocha) · Fundamental understanding of modern platform technologies and industry standard methodologies · Docker for virtualization · Serverless infrastructures (AWS Fargate, Lambda) The company language is English, and you will work together with an international engineering team to identify our users' needs and implement modern web applications.
