Data Engineering Specialist (m/f/d)Business: GE Healthcare Job Number: R3666309 Job Description SummaryAs the Data Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for management and development of in-house code base and data for AI projects as part of the data Science team. Job Description ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Data Science team, with data scientists and analytics engineers. Handle data processing/storing infrastructure ensuring structured and format consistent data storage and retrieval. Build/extend web interface for easy access to status of data/processes in the AI development pipeline Maintain up-to-date documentation of various code bases Support collection, analysis, clean-up, and preparation of data for AI development. Requirements and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree Advance programming skills preferably Python and C++ Experience with database such as SQL Experience with collaborative platforms like GitHub Fluent in English Ability to distill information down to key points. Ability to express the information clearly and concisely. Experience in developing web UI with languages such as HTML, JavaScript . Experience with Data Science projects specially around data cataloguing Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or server environments Experience with Medical data handling Team player with excellent communication skills Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operation in daily workflows. Maintains excitement for a process and drives to new directions of meeting the goal even when odds and setbacks render one path impassable. The compensation is according to collective agreement Elektro- und Elektronikindustrie in Austria. The minimum compensation for this role is 40.000EUR with a likely higher salary depending on experience level.
