MANAGING DIRECTORPost-Merger, Packaging, Italy (m/f/d)Our client is a European market leader in the packaging industry, known for high quality, ecological orientation, customer as well as employee focus and production efficiency. For its newly-acquired Italian plant a sales-driven, ideally post-merger-integration-experienced manager is sought, who possesses profound local packaging market knowledge and modern leadership skills. With the group's support, your main tasks after the acquisition will be to gain market share, improve the financial outlook and stabilize the staff situation. You ensure compliance with internal and external health, safety and legal standards, introduce necessary/group regulations and processes and serve as role model for the group's ethical values. You have full budget control and ensure the plant's continuous improvement process. You will monitor the relevant KPIs, manage corrective measures and reach the targets. You ensure the efficient use of machinery, materials as well as cost optimization and guarantee quality of service to your clients. You know the local market conditions, analyze price and quantity development in relation to the competition. You strengthen the leadership qualities of your staff and are responsible for resource management and succession planning as well as active talent development. Searching for further M&A targets will complement your tasks. You have several years of relevant experience in a comparable position, a strong sales background or are ready for the next step. Fluency in Italian and English is a must. You are future-oriented, inspiring, and know how to empower your employees. You are motivated, have entrepreneurial spirit and know how to lead the company in a cooperative fashion. You are determined, communicative and charismatic. You act in a well-organized, structured and analytical but still empathic way. You should also act as a sparring partner, motivator, driver and corrector.
