Lead contributor to successful large scale data platformsKnowledge of data-specific infrastructure components (e.g. Kafka, AWS Kinesis) & Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams)Understanding of data storage principles and data formats (e.g. Avro, Protobuf, Parquet, Delta, or other formats)Understanding of governance and security requirements around sensitive dataProficiency in object-oriented and/or functional programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Scala or Kotlin)Strong knowledge of orchestrating distributed microservices and the related tooling (e.g. Docker, AWS ECS, or other containerization & orchestration tools)Understanding of common infrastructure leveraged for ETLs (e.g. Airflow or other schedulers)Passion for learning new things and bringing in new ideas
Erfahrung
5+ years of software / data platform engineering experienceExperience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)Experience with software development patterns, best practices (e.g. TDD), and principles (e.g. SOLID)
