Java Developer (m/f/d) ViennaJava Developer (m/f/d) Vienna You are an experienced Java Software Engineer (m/f/d) with interest in Fin-tech / mobile payments? My client is specialized in banking services, you will have the opportunity to be at the helm of exciting projects and contribute to innovative new solutions on a global scale. The position is located in Vienna, Austria with remote options. You will work closely with the development team in advancing the company's service in digital payments as well as systems and other products. Your Daily Tasks: Technical design and the continuous improvement of services and interfaces Participate in the entire application life cycle, focusing on backend design, clean coding and debugging Close cooperation with the entire team (cross-functional) Design and implementation of new (micro) services and APIs for mobile apps as well as for 3rd party integration Creating a foundational layer in the infrastructure to be able to deploy to any cloud provider Developing new features such as offline payments, e-commerce, digital receipts and NFC payments etc. Skills/knowledge you should have to be successful in this role: Several years of experience with JAVA and/or Kotlin Knowledge of the design and implementation of web services (REST, SOAP) Knowledge with relational databases (e.g. Postgres) Skills with Scrum and development tools (GIT, Gradle) Business knowledge of the payment/ banking industry is an advantage Very good Knowledge of English - German is a plus!
