Job Description Create something new: As a software engineer in the scope of Industrual IoT, you will work in and with agile organized activities to support the connection of devices/machines to a Big Data environment Observe, and think ahead: You will develop and improve applications/tools/microservices by sharing best practices and discuss improvements as well as new features, Your tasks will also include enabling activities in modern software development especially in the scope of Industrial IoT and Big Data Take responsibility: You will be responsible for testing, releasing, and deploying new services and new versions of the service, further, you will evaluate Bosch internal, third party, and open-source software on the market and evolve the technology strategy Experience cooperation: Furthermore, you will implement APIs, scripts and plug-ins for integrating the services into our Big Data landscape Qualifications Personality: You are an independent, goal-oriented individual who enjoys working with distributed international agile teams Experience and Knowledge: Profound coding skills in one higher programming language like Java, Python scripting skills, knowledge of state-of-the-art software development technologies and methods especially for Big Data, knowledge of coding guidelines and standards, ideally experience with Build System, Automation, Tests (on Windows or Linux), excitement for tools Nice to have: Knowledge of the Industrial IoT, specifically device/machine connectivity, experience developing software in a Big Data environment (on-prem and/or Cloud) Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technical Informatics, or a comparable education Languages: Fluent in English and German Additional Information Your future place of work offers: High work-life balance due to flexible working time models and free window days including home office and flextime Provision through numerous health and sports activities, medical care, company pension, modern work equipment and excellent catering on site Service and social benefits: job ticket, employee discounts and attractive development opportunities as well as a structured and supportive induction program at the beginning Please upload your complete documents including your curriculum vitae, cover letter and all essential certificates (diplomas and certificates, etc.).
