For our office inGraz, AUSTRIA, we are looking for: System Architect (m/f/d) Team: Research & Development Position: Full time, experienced to expert level More to read: Find out more about our TOWER products here Your Responsibilities:As a System Architect, you will be part of a scaled agile, cross-functional team realizing our Air Traffic Management and Tower Systems to increase safety, efficiency and reliability on airports worldwide. You will be responsible for defining and evolving architectural solutions for our products, deriving a good balance between stakeholder requirements, technical requirements and economic decision making. Your main responsibilities are: Define and evolve the system architecture for our products, aligning it with the development teams and stakeholders Take ownership of the architectural runway, coordinate it with product management, stakeholders and business leaders, keeping economic aspects in mind Operate within an economic framework when analyzing the impact of design decisions and act as a role model for business awareness Drive and ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Solution Architecture, Corporate Standards, Technology Trends and Safety Requirements Your skills:Min. of 5 years working experience as a Senior Software Developer and Technical Architect Professional skills in working in a high-level programming language (e.g. C++, Java, Phyton, Scala) and working with Linux as an OS Extensive experience working with legacy applications in combination with new modularized solutions and deriving an economic balance to leading edge technologies Practical expertise in architectural frameworks and processes, microservices and event-based architecture Practical experience working with cloud technologies, virtualization and container technologies (e.g. Azure, K8S …) Good know how and experience in working with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, LeSS …) Expertise in managing international project teams and a track record of successful complex product development realization projects Our match:You are proactive, time-efficient, organized, resourceful, and can work independently while maintaining the ability to adapt to the demands of an environment where security and safety is paramount You value decentralized decision making and empowering people, fostering a collaborative culture and winning together Team-minded attitude with great interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing Knowledge in aviation sector and corresponding standards beneficial You possess a high level of autonomy and professionalism and „set the bar high".
