IBM Z System Automation is the leading software solution for high availability and automation on the IBM Z platform. For our customers, we offer a policy-based, self-healing, high-availability solution that maximizes the efficiency and availability of business-critical systems and applications. IBM Z is the leading computing platform for commercial business transaction processing and it plays in important role in many industries such as financial business, airline booking, manufacturing and more
As IBM Z System Automation development team we are guided by IBM initiatives such as Hybrid Cloud computing and AI to make new technologies available in the automation environment.
We develop using modern methods of the agile software engineering process and the use of IBM Design Thinking. We are part of an international and globally organized development team for IBM Z Systems Management and IT Optimization Software, located in Böblingen, the US and China.

What you will be doing:

In order to continue to develop innovative solutions, we are looking for motivated and team-oriented software developers who will strengthen our team and take on new, innovative tasks and projects with us. As part of the development team, after training, you will be jointly responsible for the design, implementation and test automation of relevant components and user stories as part of product development. This also includes the willingness to work with customers to verify that the components meet customer needs and are easy to use. Exciting and technically challenging work awaits you in a supportive international software development team.

We are looking for you, young and motivated software developers, to assist shaping the future of our strategic IBM Z Automation product.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or similarExperience in agile development approachExperience in at least one programming language like C/C++ or JAVA or similarGood team player and good communication skillsEnglish fluent, German at least B1

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Beyond Software Development, also experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery would be great
