TASKS:
Works with multiple agile teams - offshore and nearshore - and helps them to improve product quality and increase productivity in the development of web and cloud applications, data analytics, and infrastructure
Works closely with multiple stakeholders, such as team managers, architects, product managers, UX and DevOps engineers
Finds and evaluates new emerging technologies, tools and frameworks. Helps the teams with the introduction and implementation
Evaluates and integrates software from 3rd party vendors
Hands on work is necessary and expected to some extent
Consults the upper management
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters the design, development and operation of high-availability and large-scale (Java-based) systems, ideally multilingual using Python, C++ etc.
Second Proficiency either in frontend development, or DevOps,
Experience leading a team of software engineers without formal team lead role
Excellent knowledge of databases and data processing
Ten years of intensive and progressive experience in software development, including five years in the development of SOA and microservice-based enterprise systems
Fluent English is a must
