What part will you play?
You are responsible for the development of a global cloud based configurator application platform used by thousands of users for multiple products and systems
You conceptualize a given problem, plan and implement a solution, test it and debug any problems
You design software solutions based on Software requirements and architectural / design guidelines
Furthermore, you analyse costs, benefits and risks as well as develop detailed implementation and mitigation plans
You provide architectural oversight for the implementation and ensure that the implementation project conforms to the architecture
Also, you provide continual monitoring and a change management process to ensure that the architecture responds to the needs of the enterprise
Leadership and collaboration in cross-functional and globally located teams is part of your tasks
You'll have close collaboration within a team of architects with different technology scope to define e2e solutions
You take the responsibility for build and release, systems integration, estimations/planning
What you need to make real what matters.
You have a bachelor’s degree in information technology or comparable and long-term experience in web architecture and/or service development
You have professional experience in analysis & design methodologies for software and cloud solutions (e.g. AWS)
Furthermore, you have a strong understanding of various design and architectural patterns as well as a strong technology understanding in Java, HTTP and system integration
You see yourself as an expert in RESTful API design and a deep understanding in state of the art web technologies (Spring Boot Framework, Singel Page Applications, REST services)
You have an understanding of ontologies and product configurator technologies as well as of SCM esp. Git and CI/CD
Also, you are familiar with agile methodologies, have knowledge in Cloud infrastructure and AWS Design as well as in JIRA / Confluence
Ideally, you have an International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB) certification and knowledge with IAM, UML, OSGI, Docker and/or Kubernetes
Excellent communication skills in German and English and capable of managing stakeholder expectations round off your profile
