Based in Esch, Belval, Thales Alenia Space in Luxembourg develops state-of-the-art digital solutions, using big data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity technologies to address complex end-to-end space systems’ challenges.

Fullstack Developer
What we can do together

By joining us, you will be part of a team of creative people designing and developing key digital features of space systems and experimenting innovative solutions for ground segments.
Our development environment is cloud native and Software as a Service oriented. We work in an agile way, with an entrepreneur’s mindset, and foster excellence in user experience.
As Fullstack developer your first project will be related to a brand-new technology for satellite antennas. You will be the technical actor for a solution supervising a satellite signal processing system. From a green field, you will build a Spring Boot application, designed to manage both the signal processing software and its data sources (external hardware components), and you will be responsible for its implementation.
Your main missions will be:

In cooperation with the Business Line engineering team, design and implement a “monitor & control” solution
Manage technical requirements and ensure that deliveries are on time with the expected level of quality (functional, performance, robustness, security and documentation)
Take full ownership of the implementation of this solution, up to its deployment on QA environment
Support the team in charge of the solution integration on test bench and in-situ
Stay up to date with innovative technologies, practices and tools
Upskill the member of your squad by sharing solutions and best practices, and stay up to date
Contribute to our growth, our learning organization culture and our continuous improvement.
About you

With an Engineering/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent degree, you have at least 5 years’ experience on strongly related topics.
As a skilled developer, you pursue excellence in design and execution. You work well in high-paced environments and commit on deliveries.
You have strong background in web application development and a proven track record on the implementation of Spring Boot and Angular (or React) applications. You understand the challenges of cybersecurity and operations.
You are a convinced Agilist, and you have been involved in significant DevOps / DevSecOps projects.
You have a deep understanding of software development, from architecture (microservices, REST API) to clean code and craftsmanship.
A previous experience on dashboard / monitoring application is a plus.
With a collaborative mindset, you are eager to join a multi-cultural co-creative environment.

Highly proficient in spoken and written English, any other language is welcome.
