Oxygen Digital has partnered with a leader in the Earth Observation space, having been assigned to find a Senior Python Backend Engineer. Our client has a geographic monitoring tool allowing its users in the fields of electrification, healthcare and agriculture to centralize investments, projects and measure impact, by integrating different data streams such as satellite imagery, survey data, sensor data and predictions.
The profile we’re looking for:
You have 3+ years of experience in backend development.
Tech: Python, GCP (BigQuery), PostgreSQL/MySQL, Git/GitLab, Docker, Sentry (a plus), Open Policy Agent (a plus).
You are familiar with working in an agile environment.
You are familiar with creating unit and integration tests.

Interview process:
– 1st stage: 1 hour with the CTO and a relevant engineering colleague (20 minutes into, 20 minutes live coding of a simple task evaluating your approach, no your result and 20 minutes debrief on why they approach the task the way they did).
– 2nd stage: non-technical interview with the CEO.
– 3rd stage: final cultural interview with a Data Scientist & Developer.
