Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM System z Server is an ideal hardware platform for Cloud services in an Enterprise environment. We are the DevIT Team for IBM System Z Development- and Testteams in IBM Germany Research & Development GmbH and we provide using different Hypervisor technologies (LPAR, z/VM, KVM) a large number of System Z environments (z/OS, z/VM, z/Linux).

As a replacement for an existing Lotus Notes Database Application we move to a self-designed GUI frontend with a db2 database environment behind. The resulting repository must be able to store documents and objects, must support complex linking of information and should provide customizable reports.

You will
interact with team members and developers to understand design details and specifications
get deep knowledge in a webserver environment
adapt the application for our local needs
enhance and expand the newly designed concept using the Java Spring Framework as a Server Implementation and use the Carbon React Framework to build the Web UI
