EPAM is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with strong UX scripting and DB administration skills to implement a web portal for our client, a leading banking institution, listings financial products to Client Advisors. As part of this project, you will contribute to creating the portal by using portfolio analysis and “know your client” data to define suitable products to recommend to their clients.

What You’ll Do
Development of data tier for the client’ Digital Marketing - to be consumed by marketing tool Unica, reports, other systems
What You Have
Strong Unix scripting skills required
Strong DB Administration skills (ideally Oracle) required
Hands on experience in Agile development practices and methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban etc.) required
Good SQL database and streaming platform (e.g. Kafka) know-how preferred
Very good understanding of Tomcat, Oracle & web-services preferred
Very good understanding of implementation and integration of 3rd party tool in an enterprise level environment including security aspects preferred
Basic understanding of implementation and integration of marketing automation software (e.g. Unica, Adobe Campaign) preferred
Good understanding of CI/CD including containerization and usage of tools such as GitLab, Ansible, Nexus, Maven, Splunk, and many more. preferred
Good programming experience in Java, Spring Boot and familiar with HTTP / SOAP / REST (JSON) interfaces preferred
DevOps mindset with capability of building tools for yourself and other to increase efficiency desired
Basic understanding of cloud environments (Pivotal Cloud Foundry & Microsoft Azure preferred) & cloud-native applications (e.g. microservice architecture) desired
