How you'll spend your time
At Zühlke, you create solution architectures for large and complex applications, with a focus on situational definition and implementation. By coaching software engineers in architecture topics and in the application of agile principles, you make a decisive contribution to success.
You are involved from idea generation to the go-live and inspire your project team. With this experience you also advise customers on architecture related decision-making in context of your delivery projects, as part of their program initiatives or in targeted architecture assessments.
You are an inspirational Leader - As a people lead, you take over the disciplinary leadership of a team who suit your technical focus and be part of Zühlke's leadership team. With enthusiasm and passion, you are an enabler, coach and first point of contact for your team members. Through your leadership skills, you win over, inspire, and mobilize your team and customers alike.
Passion for clean architecture - Architectures are the foundation for successful applications. You are a master of "architectural thinking" and create solution architectures as a team sport, to meet functional and in particular non-functional requirements. As a lead you take accountability for selected key patterns and their integration: decisions for EDA, Microservices, CQRS, Cloud-Native, Data Pipelines to Data Mesh, Strategic and tactical DDD or Polyglot Persistence are backed by you experience from various successful or failed projects. You love the logical and technical challenge of successfully bringing these elements together if needed, and translate their value for business and technical stakeholders alike.
Communication is your strength - you continuously build a deep understanding of the client's domain; processes and organisations; as well as the requirements in the project. To achieve this, you act as a bridge between your team and your customers.
What is important to us?
Your several years of experience as a software developer allow you to lead development teams as a solution architect and to take on a leadership roles in projects
You have leadership experience and see yourself as an inspiring leader and coach
You have domain know how in the Banking, Insurance, or other domains of the financial sector
Excellent knowledge in architecture development and design patterns that take NFRs and quality requirements into account
IAM knowledge – you have experience with state of the art patterns and technology for Identity Access Management
You know Java or .NET in the enterprise environment as well as the current technologies for web applications and can set up and implement corresponding architectures alone and in a team.
You are learning and success oriented. You are motivated to achieve ambitious goals in a team and to be in direct exchange with the customer. Fluent communication in German and/or English.
