This role is a direct report to the CPO and will ensure smooth dev-ops models for the family’s two products.

Job Description

Establish, ensure, and improve a DevOps model for successful software deployments for our products serving eCommerce functionality to our customers
Define, improve, and monitor the automated deployment processes as well as the definition of the CI/CD pipeline established in Gitlab/Google Cloud
Establish and evolve the monitoring of our productive systems
Expand and maintain Grafana with operationally relevant KPIs to ensure stability of our products, create transparency and identify potentials for improvement
Close collaboration with the central SRE team to effectively manage operations
Initiate and monitor risk-minimizing and/or corrective measures
Support and manage relevant alignments with our service desk
Assess operational readiness according to IT and/or family internal standards as part of the development process

Qualifications

Know-How in common CI/CD techniques to deliver fast and robust software
Experience in automating software in K8s/Docker running OnPrem and/or Google Cloud
Finding a grain when looking at metrics and logs in Kibana, Grafana and Prometheus
Hands-On mentality when working in a team with other technologies like Artifactory, Java 17, Vue/Nuxt.js as well as scripting and other build/orchestration tools
Sound knowledge of DevOps processes and agile methodology as well as a basic understanding of environmental systems and IT operations
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Strong analytical skills and talent to structure complex situations, topics and issues well
Organizational talent with the ability to handle detail and to see the big picture at the same time
Resourceful mindset with problem-solving attitude and willingness to go to the root of the problem
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
