DevOps Engineer for Core Banking Systems (f/m/x)
#full-time (38.5 h/week)

#Office based in Vienna (1030 or 1190)

#homeoffice / working from home possible

Your main objectives
Maintain the platform by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
Cooperation with the service team to ensure stable IT operations
Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with our IT process framework.
Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Investigation and resolving of technical issues
Working with software developers and requirements engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience by automation
Planning and coordinating small initiatives
Working as part of an agile delivery team (Scrum / Kanban)

Your skills
Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
Proficient with of state-of-the-art technologies (e.g. AWS, Docker / Kubernetes, CI/CD, Test Automation)
Knowledge of networking, Linux/Unix
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Java)
Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python)
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Problem-solving attitude
Collaborative team spirit
Familiarity with and interest in new technologies
Good command of English, written and spoken. German skills are an advantage
