YOUR TASKS
You define the software architecture of the project according to the latest technological standards (international Horizon Projekt "EDDIE" - European Distributed Data Infrastructure For Energy)
You guide and support other developers in the team and also develop state-of-the-art code
You write clean, maintainable, testable and understandable code
You drive unit and integration testing within your project team
You passionately strive for quality and great user experience
You develop the technical concept with your project team and present it to the consortium
You define development guidlines and best practices
You facilitate workshops on technical topics with your project team and/or the client team

YOUR PROFILE
You have completed a technical study on MSc or PhD level (e.g. computer science, software engineering ...)
You have several years of solid professional experience in object-oriented programming with Java
You are familiar with the following technologies: Apache Kafka, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Git
You develop clean, maintainable, testable and understandable code (following Clean Architecture und SOLID principles)
You have strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a high degree of quality awareness
You have experience with unit and integration testing
You know when and how to apply Design Patterns and Separation of Concerns
You understand the value of static code analysis and continuous integration tools
You have a good command of written and spoken English
