We are looking for a passionate and talented JAVA Developer (m/f/d) who wants to drive the development of next generation security products using cutting-edge machine learning algorithms.
Integrated in a young, motivated and fast growing team of data scientists and research engineers, you will take machine learning projects from research stages to production and integrate data science solutions into the company’s flagship products.
Responsibilities
(Further) Development and support for various software components (e.g. real-time charging or provisioning of value-added services)
Development of creative solutions for challenging problems within the Telco and/or Security sector.
Creation and co-design of software designs for platform components
Technical documentation
Active further development of the company-wide software development process
Analysis and resolution of customer problems reported through our Network Operating Center
Creation of clean and well-structured Java code that complies with the usual coding guidelines
Profile
Completed studies (at least bachelor’s degree) in IT, software engineering or a comparable technical education
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as Java developer
Passion for new technologies, development of new solutions in the field of telecommunication and/or security
Profound knowledge of Java/JEE and software design patterns
Experience with the following or comparable frameworks: Spring, RMI (JBoss Remoting), JDBC, Hibernate, JMS (ActiveMQ), JAX-WS
Experience testing of Java applications, XML/JSON based web services
Practical experience with JIRA and Confluence
Knowledge and experience with tools for versioning (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins)
Familiarity with XML, JSON, SVN, GIT
Knowledge of different operating systems: RHEL/CentOS/ Ubuntu
Practical experience with PostgreSQL und MongoDB
Experience with agile software development (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge of Linux shell scripting
Familiarity with Unit Testing
Knowledge in development of telecommunication solutions
Good communication skills and ability to work independently within an agile team
Fluent English skills, German is of advantage
