Backend Software Engineer – Mobile Services (f/m/d)
Our client is a leading online retailer of pet supplies and is looking for a Backend Software Engineer – Mobile Services (f/m/d) to strengthen the team.
What you will do:
In the ambitious and creative team, the mission is to shape the future of mobile apps.
In your role as Mobile Backend Engineer, you will define, extend and maintain the services that power our mobile apps.
Your experience and opinions matter, so you will also play a vital role in planning and defining new features.
Free thinking and collaboration are highly encouraged!
Your experience so far:
3-5 years practical experience in software development with Java, Spring, Python, REST API concepts, understanding of databases
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (container orchestration, CI, monitoring and alerting, AWS) and design patterns
Drive for quality: Clean Code principles, TDD, knowing when to apply best practices
Shared ownership mindset: as a self-organized, autonomous teams, we take end-to-end responsibility for what we deliver together
Fluency in English and good communication skills
Tech Stack for that position is Java, Python, AWS (for example API Gateway, Lambdas, RDS…)
