Job Description
Do you have a passion for system engineering and infrastructure automation? Do you enjoy working with configuration-as-code? Are you interested in containerization and providing self-service platforms for 750+ developers? Do you have a strong sense of ownership and like to take responsibility?
As a Senior CI Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending our continuous integration environment, implementing self-service platforms, and assisting our developers.

Your role in the team
Independent implementation of highly scalable CI infrastructure in a diverse environment
Implementation of configuration management for CI infrastructure
Collaborate and assist your colleagues in international development teams
Design, maintain and implement our Kubernetes based CI environment both on-premises and in the cloud
Automate deployments and infrastructure using Terraform
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working as a System Engineer in a corporate environment
In-depth hands-on experience with configuration management (preferably Puppet)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
Fluent in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java, ...)
Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Good understanding of Linux virtualization technologies (KVM)
Profound knowledge in Linux system engineering
Basic knowledge of operating systems like Microsoft Windows
Optional knowledge of Solaris, AIX or MacOS
Technical studies related to Computer Science or similar experience
Hands-on team player with high-quality standards

Compensation and rewards

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 50,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
