Big Data Administrator (f/m/x)
Our client is one of the leading players in the sports betting area. To build up a core team in the area Data Science in Vienna they are searching for a Big Data Administrator (f/m/x).
These exciting tasks are awaiting you:
Administrate, monitor and optimize our Big Data environment based on Apache Hadoop from Cloudera (on-premise and cloud)
Plan and execute updates/upgrades
Evaluate new tools and frameworks for future use
Advise our Data Engineers and Data Scientists on the selection of Hadoop services for use cases
3rd level support through troubleshooting and error analysis
Your experience so far:
Technical education (Computer Science HTL, Computer Science Degree, Data Science etc.)
Experience in data modeling (relational databases and Apache Hadoop)
Know-how of core technologies such as SQL (MS SQL Server), Apache Hadoop (Kafka, NiFi, Flink, Spark, Scala und/oder Java, Python) and Linux
Showing interest in working with high-frequency data processing in a near-realtime environment
