In this role as professional project manager with a solid technical background and expertise, you will lead teams and actively manage projects within Technology Excellence driving predevelopment & innovation projects for various Infineon stakeholders.

In your new role you will:

Lead complex predevelopment and innovation projects in wafer technology or package development
Execute the projects in compliance with the agreed project plan, project targets and customer requirements
Develop advanced and cost-efficient solutions, process blocks or modules for a wide range of applications with automotive, consumer and industrial industries
Define and work-out innovative solutions or concepts for new processes blocks or interface and interactions within process modules
Communicate within project team and to all relevant stakeholders in the project environment across all Infineon functions
Collaborate with R&D partners in all divisions, Frontend & Backend unit process development, integration and innovation teams
You have the ability to recognize and use different areas of expertise and skills of team members and appreciate their contribution to the success of the project?

You are best equipped for this job if you:

A degree in Physics Science, Material Science, Electrical / Microsystems Engineering or equivalent, preferable with a PhD
At least 6 years working experience in semiconductor technologies and minimum 4 years of professional experience in Project Management, ideally in technology or package development of semiconductors
A solid technical background and expertise on semiconductor technologies , Frontend or Backend processing, integration and interfaces
A project management qualification , IPMA C or equivalent
Experience in leading teams functionally and technically. At the same time, you are team-oriented skilled with a strong hands-on mentality
An excellent analytical and strategic thinking and live up to our high-quality standards
Fluent English and German skills as a plus
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H-I ( https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2021.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
