Description This is a technical role where you will have an opportunity to work in a company with operations around the globe. To continue to service and support the world's top banks and asset managers we are constantly innovating to cement our industry leading position for the next decade.

We are building modern, cloud-based software using constantly evolving agile and extreme practices. Independent autonomous teams build, maintain and support services which allows them to develop expertise in technology and business domains.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of an efficient continuous delivery platform, covering build, deployment and test automation as well as the provisioning of infrastructure components in cloud environments.

Java11 and Spring Boot/Spring Cloud are our primary backend technologies with Angular 8 and Typescript in our frontend.

Job ResponsibilitiesDeploy, automate, orchestrate, maintain and manage the development systems and other related infrastructure

Continuous conception and further development of our automated delivery processes

Support developers, testers, and operations to automate the continuous delivery of software components

Participate in project and release activities as well as hotfixes and other deliverables

Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability

Improve and expand the use of our newest AWS Cloud Services for our solutions

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, deliver and operate solutions that meet business needs

Communicate development and production issues to project team, vendors and management

Documentation of infrastructure, architecture and configuration

Key SkillsExperience with cloud concepts and providers (preferably AWS), virtualization and docker-based environments

Interest on security-related concepts and solutions

Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery) pipelines and concepts and a good overview of related tools

Advanced Linux Know How and proficient in shell scripting or other scripting languages (i.e. Python, Bash)

Experience with modern source code management tools (i.e. Git, BitBucket)

Experience in designing and building of monitoring/logging/alerting capabilities in microservice based environment (i.e. Kibana, etc.)

Very good infrastructure, networking and OS know-how

Analytical, result-oriented, self-organized and structured way of working as well as reliability, proactivity, curiosity and readiness to take responsibility

A natural confidence with your communication and team skills, while being fluent in English

Desirable Skills

QualificationsDegree within Computer Science / Information Technology or similar

ExperienceRelevant experience as DevOps Engineer

Proficient in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines (CI/ CD) including build tools like maven (Java), npm (Angular), make (C/C++ on Linux), msbuild on Windows

Automation experience with at least one configuration / deployment / monitoring management system such as Jenkins

Experience with Docker and various deployment strategies like docker compose and Kubernetes

Experience with AWS cloud development and operations
