Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Angular Developer to join our team developing web-based applications to leverage "big data" platform. As a UI Developer on our team, you will analyze complex business requirements and problems and drive research to design quality technical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software. You will be actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, often starting with rapid prototypes early in the design phase, but most of the time you will ultimately be writing clean, production-ready code, which will be integrated with the backend/APIs. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

Other Job Responsibilities
Develop User interfaces with the latest Front End Technologies
Perform analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require research and analysis
Understand and analyze requirements to help define and scope projects
Collaborate with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful APIs
Adhere to and contribute to UI/UX standardization, best practices, and coding standards
Develop, test, and document well thought out architected commented code
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field). Higher Education would be a plus.
3+ years’ work experience, preferably at industrial environment
3+ years' experience with Angular ^4.0, Typescript, HTML5, SASS
Professional, precise communication and collaboration skills required
Good critical thinking, problem-solving and time-management skills
Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules Experience creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components, working with an Agile development methodology
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket), Angular Material and Big Data/Hadoop components

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation Group G, based on a full-time employment. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
