Director Of Software Engineering – Austria
Your Tasks
You are in charge of implementing and delivering our regional software engineering projects in your capacity as Microsoft Software Development & Architecture Lead.
Among other things, your area of responsibility entails the technical planning, control, and end-to-end support of cloud projects (migration, transformation, and native development), the design of the technical target image, cost estimates, agile implementation planning, and the creation and delivery of prototype solution scenarios.
Additionally, you will manage pre-sales tasks and aid in the expansion of the software development sector in this capacity.
You will also support our younger colleagues with coaching and mentoring so that you can scale your work optimally.
The majority of our cloud development initiatives include change. On this "Journey to Cloud," we do more than just lift and move; we also take use of opportunities for optimization.
Your Skills
Several years of architectural experience in the field of software engineering and in-depth knowledge of software development are required for the role. You "speak" several languages ??- preferably C#, JavaScript/TypeScript or PowerShell and are familiar with the relevant frameworks such as .NET Core, NodeJS, Angular or React.
Your knowledge of modern software engineering is broad - from various architectural approaches, implementations and cloud design patterns to DevOps technologies such as Docker.
You are familiar with cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but also AWS or Google) and can use IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services as a business enabler and value creator.
You have experience in pre-sales and people management, excellent communication and presentation skills and enjoy supporting our customers with cost-benefit analyses, inventories and feasibility studies.
