Your opportunity
We are looking for an experienced front-end developer responsible for greenfield web development and design implementation for our leading real-time auction platform. Your primary focus will be to develop reusable web components for web and mobile according to our design system.

This engineering role suits a frontend specialist with an eye for detail and experience with design systems and UI libraries. The key skills are HTML, CSS, Sass, and Storybook, including CSS animation. Experience with React presentational components is desirable.

Your area of responsibility
Implementing web and web native components in Storybook by following high-fidelity designs in Figma
Writing responsive, valid HTML and CSS3/Sass
Writing micro-animations using CSS transitions and keyframes
Implementing the full range of Storybook manual and automated testing capabilities in visual regression, interaction, snapshot, and accessibility
Integrating UI components into React presentational components
Owning the UI library code
Conducting peer reviews with the Product Owner, UX designer, and React developers
What makes you the right candidate?
A minimum of 3 years of experience in development of UI components for responsive websites and web native apps
Expertise with HTML and CSS3/Sass
Experience in using Storybook to build isolated UI components
Expertise in creating micro-animations using CSS transitions and keyframes
Knowledge of handling mobile web views, WebKit, touch, and gestures
Experience in Javascript/TypeScript is desirable
Experience in the creation of React presentational components, event handling, and screen navigation is desirable
Committed personality with good English skills. No German skills required
Focus and deadline-oriented, with a good eye for detail
EU citizen or valid work permit for the EU
Country of residence: Austria or Germany

Salary range starts at EUR 44,800 gross per year
