About the Team

The trade and earn team enables Bitpanda customers to trade various assets on our platform. The teams mission statement is to make investing in digital assets as simple as ordering a pizza, as shareable as daily wordle results and enjoyable as online shopping. Our teams take care of delivering new innovative features while making sure to adhere to our quality standards.

Your mission:

As a Backend Developer at Bitpanda, you will be responsible for writing, reviewing and maintaining clean and scalable code over all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

What you'll do:
Develop high-quality features
Ensure high test coverage and troubleshoot to eliminate bugs
Keep debug-outputs tidy
Write comments during development and ensure technical documentation
Constantly optimise systems to ensure reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability
Who you are:
Excellent skills using PHP (Laravel/Symfony Framework)/Node.js/Java
MySQL and REST-API
Strong knowledge and experience in backend development systems and methodologies
Good knowledge of working database systems and database optimisations
Extensive experience in writing and maintaining tests
