We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Luxembourg. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
Provision of technical studies, technical expertise, and technical evaluations in relation to information systems described in this call for tenders;
Audits regarding specific aspects of information systems, including analysis and design, ergonomics;
Provision of advice and assistance in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance, deployment, hosting, and effective use of information systems and their environments;
Functional requirements and business case analysis;
Provision of security studies, security assessments, or other security matters associated with information system projects.
Requirements
University Degree with more than 5 years of relevant experience in IT;
Minimum 3 years of experience in programming languages (Java) as well as in systems and protocols (UNIX shell, Linux (RHEL), TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP and SSL);
Minimum 2 years of experience in databases, semantic web and search (Oracle database and SQL) combined with minimum 3 years of experience with application and web servers (Oracle Weblogic and Apache Tomcat);
Minimum 3 years of experience in standards and formats (XML, XSLT, DTD and XML-schema);
Minimum 2 years of experience in UML and RUP;
Minimum 2 years of experience in Issue tracking systems (Jira) and Version control tools (SVN and GIT);
Expertise in Webservices, SOAP and Rest;
Excellent command of the English language.
