About Our Client
You are passionate about compiler technology in Blockchain and open-source software? You are familiar with compilers of different L1- and L2-protocols? Then, we might have the right job for you.

Job Description
Designing and implementing compilers from scratch
Proposing new design recommendations for high-level smart contract languages depending on the Blockchain
Integrating additional tooling for the compilers
Being involved in the global Blockchain community - work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals
Providing your knowledge and expertise as a technical team member
Participating in developing and disseminating new reference architectures, technical content, and best practices (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts)
The Successful Applicant
Degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Informatics or a similar qualification
Proven track record within the Blockchain industry - this is a must
Previous working experience as an Engineer or Developer (3+ years)
Familiarity with Zero-Knowledge Proofs (zk-SNARK, circom, Plonk/Halo2, zk-STARK), elliptic curve cryptography, and circuit design
Experience with low level/strongly typed languages (C/C++/Go/Rust or Java/C#)
Knowledge of relevant concepts: static analysis, type systems, lambda calculus and its variations, abstract interpretation, common compiler optimizations.
In-depth knowledge of compilers and VMs
Proficiency in English is a must, additional languages are a plus
