Your Role and Responsibilities
Enterprises are challenged with consolidating, structuring and providing customer data accessibility across organizational silos. Built using a data fabric, Customer 360 solutions from IBM Cloud Pak® for Data break down silos and make data more trusted, secure and governed. Spend more time applying AI and analytics and less time searching for quality data.

You will be working with a local team in IBM's Research & Development Lab as part of an international development team responsible for the IBM Match 360 with Watson product which is an integral part of the Customer 360 solutions from IBM Cloud Pak® for Data. Businesses use IBM Match 360 with Watson to quickly build data pipelines for analytics and other data science use cases using master data. You will be working on making this solution available on IBM Cloud Pak for Data, IBM Cloud and other hyperscalers, hence you will experience modern, agile and cloud-native development methods.

You will be involved in the entire software engineering cycle for key features from requirement through design and implementation to operation. You work closely with UX and visual designers to create a UI that is efficient and effective that allows to enable self-service access to customer data to build fit-for-purpose 360-degree customer views. Using micro front-end technologies you will integrate the created components seamlessly into the larger IBM Cloud Pak for Data user experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong JavaScript knowledge for both front-end and back-end development
Experience in one of the UI frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
Proficient in HTML/CSS
Creative thinker
Possesses excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good English and German Skills required

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Foundation skills in micro frontend development, build and integration (Next.js, webpack, babel, etc.)
Knowledge how to use a design system in UI development
Writing automated tests using Jest, Puppeteer/Playwright, or similar libraries
Cloud development, CI/CD, DevOps
