As part of our EY etventure team, we are working together in Berlin and Munich to shape the digital future of business and society in a new way. In the area of business development, you are a core element in the EY etventure team and at the forefront when real products emerge from initial test scenarios. You will take on a wide variety of tasks:
Work on key initiatives to keep our systems elegant and productivity high
Take the ownership and domain expertise over part of the codebase, and contribute to growing it in accordance with our standards and best practices
Collaborate as a team on product vision and software design decisions
Build new product features from start to finish: through conception, research, development, refinement, documentation and maintenance
Work in an agile environment that values programmer practices
What you can contribute – skills for shaping the future
At least 5 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React/Redux, RxJS, GraphQL
Robust experience with a relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Solid knowledge of NodeJS development, fundamentals of API design and security, familiarity with basic DevOps and AWS/Azure, experience with IOT is a big plus
Good communication skills, being comfortable working in a team, and being able explain technical solution to non-technical colleagues.
Meticulous mindset, but you also understand that software engineering is about making trade-offs, balancing business and technical needs
Fluency in written/spoken English and German
